Based on the industry-standard Security Assertion Markup Language, partners can use their own Identity Provider to send digitally-signed assertions. End-users are authenticated by their own organization's standard authentication mechanisms (e.g. AD or other Web Access Management product) and that mechanism passes along the user's identity to SimpleSP.

Integration of SimpleSP involves a small DLL file deployed to your application server. The federation information is stored in configuration files.
